San Pablo Offices

The project for an office building in the neighborhood of San Pablo in Seville was an exercise for a competition. It was intended to design a monumental business building, associated with the creation of public leisure spaces that could give more life to the residential neighborhood of San Pablo.

This building was intended to be the Spanish headquarters of a multinational company.

The project proposes a raised courtyard, associated with the entrance to the building, exploring water and light to bring life to this place. The metrics of the pillars and their shadows define a striking rhythm that conveys identity to the place. The imposing facade was an important requirement of the project and gains greater monumentality through the use of exterior areas covered with double height.

A public and a private cloister.

A more private patio was also created, this one only for company employees. The intention was to bring direct light to specific offices, while the atriums and circulation areas benefit from zenith light inputs.

The light inputs were carefully studied in order to obtain adequate lighting for each function of the building.
